Needless to say this step should be done outdoors. Find a flat area, preferably a table, and layout newspaper or cardboard covering any area that might get overspray. Layout one or more jars open end up and allow at least a foot between each of your jars. This will allow you to spray more than one jar at a time without waiting on each one to dry.

For best looking results you will want to frost just the outside of your jar(s). Shake your can of frosting vigorously and apply an even and smooth coat of frosting to each jar. On a sunny day the frosting should be dry in less than 5 minutes. Turn over each jar and repeat the process for the bottom of the jar(s).

Note: Do not frost the lid! The lid has to remain clear for the solar panel to charge effectively.
